A physician-led, evidence-based approach to weight management and nutrition. Dr. Anuragini Pandey provides individualized medical evaluation, counseling, and, when clinically appropriate in her sole professional judgment, treatment options for weight management. Services may include lifestyle counseling, metabolic evaluation, and consideration of FDA-approved prescription medications. No medication or treatment is guaranteed or appropriate for every patient.
Program Offerings
Weight management is a complex metabolic process, not a simple test of willpower. At Éblouissant, we treat weight loss as an essential pillar of your overall metabolic, cardiovascular, and long-term health.
Our Clinical Approach
- Comprehensive Metabolic Workups: Complete blood work, thyroid panels, and insulin sensitivity screening to address and manage underlying physiological drivers of weight.
- Advanced Medical Weight Loss: Individualized evaluation for FDA-approved prescription weight-management medications, including consideration of Wegovy®, Ozempic®, or Zepbound® when clinically appropriate and permitted by law. Any prescribing decision is made only after medical review and in the clinician’s sole professional judgment. A prescription is not guaranteed.
- Empathetic Nutritional Guidance: Sustainable, practical advice that fits into your real life. We focus on nutrient-dense foods, balanced macros, and preserving lean muscle — without crash diets.
- Continuous Monitoring & Support: Ongoing follow-up may be recommended as clinically appropriate, but treatment frequency, dosing changes, continuation, or discontinuation are determined by the clinician based on your response, safety, adherence, side effects, laboratory results, and medical necessity. No outcome is guaranteed.
The Physician-Led Advantage
Dr. Pandey evaluates your medical history, current medications, laboratory data, contraindications, and overall risk profile before recommending any weight-management therapy. If a GLP-1 or similar medication is considered, treatment is offered only when medically appropriate, legally permissible, and consistent with the clinician’s professional judgment. Medication selection, starting dose, titration, monitoring, refills, and continuation are never automatic and may be changed or stopped if clinically indicated.
Many of our patients combine medical weight loss with our aesthetics practice — such as Vivace® RF Microneedling for skin-tightening and firming post-weight loss, or Botox® & Dysport®.
What to Expect
Medication Risks and Limitations
Prescription weight-loss medications, including GLP-1-based therapies such as Wegovy®, Ozempic®, and Zepbound®, are not right for everyone. Potential side effects and risks may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain, dehydration, dizziness, gallbladder disease, pancreatitis, worsening reflux, delayed gastric emptying, allergic reaction, and other serious or unexpected adverse events. These medications may also interact with other medications or be inappropriate in certain medical conditions, including but not limited to pregnancy, breastfeeding, personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN2, personal or family history of multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2, prior pancreatitis, significant gastrointestinal disease, or other contraindications identified during evaluation.
Any discussion of medication on this website is informational only. It does not constitute medical advice or a promise that you will be prescribed any medication. The decision to prescribe, continue, adjust, or discontinue treatment is made only after individualized clinical assessment.
Insurance and Prior Authorization
Insurance coverage, formulary placement, prior authorization, step therapy, quantity limits, plan exclusions, and pharmacy availability are controlled by the patient’s insurance plan and pharmacy network, not by our website or by any promise from the Practice. Even when a medication is medically appropriate and prescribed, coverage or dispensing is not guaranteed. Prior authorization requests may be submitted when appropriate, but approval, denial, delay, or repeal of coverage is outside the Practice’s control.
Telehealth Location Limitations
Telehealth services, if offered, are available only where permitted by law and only when the patient is physically located in a state or jurisdiction in which the treating clinician is licensed and authorized to provide the relevant service at the time of the encounter. Telehealth is not for emergencies.
Common Questions
What happens during my first consultation?
Dr. Pandey will review your complete medical history, lifestyle factors, eating patterns, and goals. She may order blood work (such as metabolic and thyroid panels) to understand your unique physiology before crafting your plan.
Do you prescribe weight loss medications like Wegovy or Ozempic?
Yes. If clinically appropriate and safe for your health history, Dr. Pandey can prescribe and continuously monitor advanced FDA-approved weight loss medications, coordinating with your insurance where applicable.
Do you accept insurance for weight loss and nutrition?
For clinical consultations, accepted insurance plans are listed on Dr. Pandey's Zocdoc profile. You can also call the office to check. Please note that while clinical visits may be covered, some weight loss medications require specific insurance prior authorizations, which our team helps manage.
Can I combine weight loss with other treatments?
Absolutely. Many of our patients choose to combine weight management with our aesthetics practice — such as Vivace RF Microneedling to tighten skin or Botox — or use Dr. Pandey as their primary care physician.
